Responsible Sourcing - Introductory Training Module
Introductory Module on OECD Due Diligence Guidance
Introductory training module, developed by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI), MCBIH and Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), focussed on the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas.
The brief module introduces the OECD Guidance, including practical approaches to implementing the 5-Step Framework to mineral supply chain due diligence. It outlines the purpose of due diligence, describes each of the five steps, and identifies the relevant tools and programmes offered by the MCBIH, RMI, and RJC, that companies can utilise to support their responsible sourcing efforts. It is recommended for any entity linked to the minerals trade, from mine, to end user, as well as to auditors, auditees, governments, civil society and other key stakeholders.
